DostertPinot Gris 2021 (750ml)

The 2021er Pinot Gris (with L-Nr. 4-22) was made from young vines (planted in 2014) and was fermented and aged along natural lines, i.e. without intervention, and bottled after a rough filtering and with little SO2 added (30 mg/l). This bright yellow-white-colored and subtly hazy wine offers a superb nose made of pear, floral elements, a hint of apricot blossom, bitter lemon, and chalky elements, all wrapped into a whiff of natural funk. The wine is superbly fresh and intense on the palate and leaves a splendidly creamy feel in the long finish. The wine is precise, deep, and hugely engaging. We cannot remember ever having tasted a Pinot Gris of such elegance and presence from the Mosel: What a stunning success!
