was first published in the fall of 2023, to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The book is exactly 190 pages and includes stories from the beginning of vom Boden, including our fears, philosophies and why it’s easier to get a colonoscopy than to sell wine in all fifty states. It also includes love letters to the wine regions of Germany (including the Moselle, Saar, Ruwer, Nahe, Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Baden, Franken and Württemberg), maps, tons of color photos, a grape index and so much more!
Despite our intention not to, we did succumb to peer pressure and printed a second round in the spring of 2025. However, these have sold out as well. We will not print any more. Instead, we are eagerly waiting to see second-hand books trading on Ebay at wildly inflated prices. Then we’ll know we’ve arrived.
We’ve provided a few spreads from the book below, just for fun. Some of the regional content – the “love letters” to the various regions I speak about above – has been put online here for your enjoyment and edification.
